Limited Edition of 250 ORDER FORM Orders will not ship until October 2003
This year’s Commemorative is a departure from anything we’ve ever offered the membership. The theme is the ever-popular Mayan-Aztec design. Joniece was inspired by the pyramids still surviving from the ancient civilizations of the Mayans and the Aztecs in what is now Central Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula—with the added insert of a little clock. How perfect for your desk at home, at the office, or at the breakfast table to keep you on time! Of course you’ll recognize some of the glyphs incorporated by John Frank in the 1940’s when he designed the Mayan-Aztec dinnerware (including the now-familiar “piano player”), and an imbedded Pot & Puma just for fun (coming from the cultures of our subject, we might call it a “Jaguar”). Its eloquent design is an art piece—a conversation piece— that will grace any setting in which you wish to place it. Know that it has been created with love, especially for the Frankoma Family, by the second generation of the original Frank family whose art we continue to love and seek to own. If you cannot attend Reunion 2003, get your orders in early! However, please be patient, as they will not be shipped until October. Thanks again, Joniece, for creating for us another unique and special commemorative to take home with pride and enjoy! The price for one in your choice of color is $40, three for $100 (a $120 value), or $130 for all four (a $160 value). Frankoma Industries has cast these items, and Joniece and Donna have finished them by meticulously trimming, hand glazing and firing each piece in their FRANK X 2 studio. In the spirit and tradition of John and Grace Lee Frank, they have handled each piece with loving care, and that special frequency will never leave them. As long as you own these commemoratives, they will speak to you. |
